Fluff test
Gianna Cocchini, Nicoletta Beschin, Mervi Jehkonen

The Fluff test aims to detect unilateral neglect of one own's body (Personal neglect; PN). Patients are blindfolded for the entire duration of the task. A total of 24 small targets are attached on the patients' clothes. Of these, 15 are placed on the contralesional side (3 on the torso, 3 on the arm and 3 on the leg) and 9 are attached on the ipsilesional side (3 on the torso and 3 on the leg) of the patient's body. While blindfolded, patients are asked to remove all the targets. The number of targets removed on each side ot the body is calcualated and compare. See Fiugre 1 in Cocchini et al. (2001) to distribtuion of target; see Cocchini & BEschin (2020) for new scrogin system allowing to detect contralesional and ipsilesional Personal Neglect and distinguish possible general attentional disorders.
